As others have said, excited about Jachai's potential. If we can unlock it and keep off field issues away from the game... we might have stole one. And an excellent option in place of / complimentary to Dante and Clay.

seems that his weight has also been a concern, too light coming in, less effective after trying to bulk up...

Another guy on that list who intrigues me is Adonis Alexander. He was a very good CB at VaTech, but has the size (6'3, 205) to be a safety.

Agree on safety. Not quick enough to be a corner. Unless he plays press man and just muscles up, but that could end up being a yellow flag parade.

Adding weight is not a problem in the NFL. That is if you have a real good strength coach. That is if you do it properly, and not cheating.

Practice squad players mostly. Teams do it every year but every guy doesn't always get signed.

I did a search on this site, and couldn't find a list of the players we signed last year. I'm just curious if any of them ended up being starters or made key plays in 2019.

I'm basically wondering if I should give a shit this time next season when the same type of contracts get signed.

That would be a no lol.

The list
Steven Parker, CB
Ramon Richards, CB
Travin Howard, LB
Jamil Demby, G
Aaron Neary, C
Dominique Hatfield, CB
Jeremiah Kolone, G

Demby signed with the Lions but they brought him back to the active roster. Neary ended the season on IR. Richards wasn't signed. Kolone road the practice squad again all season.

It's your practice squad. Unlike the rest of your team, their contracts expire at the end of the season so you have to sign them to a futures contract if you want them to be part of your 90 for all the off season stuff...
