If i wasn't a Rams fan i'd have taken Carolina +3, so called sharp betters are mostly on them, makes sense the spread would come down. We're still favored at their stadium and, of course, they actually have to play the game to see who the winner is...

Weather is favorable for passing the ball (no rain, little wind), but it is going to be hot. Rotating players and time of possession could be key factors. If it stays close, the team with the freshest defense in the 4th Quarter may have a big advantage.

I guess I wasn't paying as much attention in the off season as I thought. I'm really surprised at how many people are picking the Panthers to win. Or are we just going to be doubted every year? We're we this 2nd guessed by everybody at the beginning of last season? I still think the Rams take it by 10, and I'm doing my best to be as un-homery as possible.

In this instant gratification, short attention span society, you're only as good as your last game. Rams scored 3 points. Based on that. some people probably think they won't score more than 48 total points all season because of something they call "The Blue Print".

Of course after they score 38 points in this game everyone will return to proclaiming the Rams will score 500 points again this season. 8-)

The SB loser is 3-16 against the spread week one of the following season since 2000 so makes sense bettors would be looking at Carolina...

and that record against the spread is probably a reflection of playing on the road... since the 2000 season super bowl losers have played on the road in week 1 of the following year 13 times in 19 seasons while super bowl winners have played on the road just twice. :shock2:

I see a beat down..... 35 to 13 RAMs..

We had one of the best Road teams last year....

The Panthers are missing their LT.... with a patched up O-line,

They have no threat at WR....

AD, Matthews and Fowler are going to have a field day on Cam Cam…

The Panthers hope, is that their Defense can keep the game close...

But after the Panthers turning the ball over against our defense....

It will just give more opportunities for us to score and give no rest for the Panthers defense...… eventually they will get tired and give up some big points...

I don't see the RAMs dropping off playing at away game going into this year...

I'm looking for a lot of things tomorrow.

1. First and foremost, Gurley's arthritic knee.
2. Noteboom and Allen
3. Cooper Kupp and the receiving corp
4. Henderson and the way McVay schemes some plays for him
5. Tyler Higbee and how he starts earning that extension
6. The defense and if they start out better than last year

seems that tomorrow's game will be loaded with post-game i told you so opportunity should things not go well for the rams:

- told you that gurley wasn't healthy
- told you the preseason was important
- told you that goff wasn't worth his new contract
- told you super bowl hangovers are real

did i miss any?
