speaking of uniforms, came across these shots of a december 2017 rams practice, check out the navy facemasks with the white horns instead of the white facemasks they wore all year.

i had actually hoped that they would go with navy masks when it was announced that they would sport the white horns, because i thought the white masks would compete with the white horns, reduce their pop, but they really grew on me, the white masks look pretty nice.

anyway these shots were no doubt taken in a practice or walk through leading up to the niners season finale, a game in which the rams sported their throwbacks (ferragamo's), the equipment manager got an early jump on the workload, swapped out the white masks for the navy, leaving only the swapping of horn decals, from white to yellow, for after the last practice.

Thanks a1, I have not seen those before. Now I am torn. I do think the white facemasks make the horns "pop" a bit more than the blue but they are still cool!

same thing before the jags game, but flipped, they wore their ferragamo's the week before against the seahawks, and left the yellow horns on their helmets until after the last practice before facing the jags, but got an early jump by swapping out the navy throwbacks mask for the white masks... gotta say, the navy masks with the white horns look a tad better than the the white masks with the yellow horns, ha ha.

I’m liking the white horns on blue helmet. Seems sophisticated.

I know the blue and yellow is more popular, but if that’s the direction. I like it.
