Agreed Hacksaw! Also IMO, Black was never a part of ANY Rams uni and doesn't need to be now. Having said that. Dumoff will make it happen!

As much as I hate that lying turd, sometimes weird jersey choices/mandates come from the league office. Look at the NHL and the reverse retro jerseys. Or the NFL and the color rush pajamas.

Yeah he has a ton of power, he's Kroenke's right hand man but he's not just arbitrarily picking colors or whatever.

Kroenke spent a ton of money moving the Rams to LA and building SoFi. He is highly invested in making it work. You can be sure they are focus grouping and consulting everything they do to try and get the best results.

It won't always work or be right and certainly we won't always like it but i don't think it's based on anybody's whims or vanity...

Someone had to "push" certain uni designs/logos and "eliminate" others to get to the final choices. Someone was in charge. I doubt it was Kroenke. Whoever it was IMO most likely reported to Kroenke with the ones that he/she approved allowing Kroenke to give his final approval.

I am not sure they relied 100% on those "focus groups". What percentage did the groups play? Not sure.

From what I remember reading those focus groups were small and didn't exactly consist of the typical fan. I think Eric Dickerson commented on it.

IMO, they should have had more "fan input" in the final choices before making them official. Maybe some contests? Polls on multiple social media sites?

IMO, if polls were done with the fans and the bone uni was a choice in the final 3 (B+Y, W+Y, it would have come in last.

If they would have polled the fans on if they should neuter the horn and split it too I would've been surprised if 1% of the results said: "Hell yeah! Let's fuck up the horn! To hell with tradition!"

IMO, the whole thing was done poorly with no concern for how the majority of fans felt. IMO, even the fans who like the new uni and logo would have preferred something more traditional.

How much power did Demoff have in the final say? I bet more than anyone else did. At the very least he was the last step before anything got to Kroenke to see.

When I went to the Detroit game in Sofi,

there were tons of fans with the new uni's, especially #99, young and old,

including myself, with a new royal blue #69 SJD uni...

I sold my old special made white uni with royal blue horns on the sleeve,

#75 Deacon Jones to my buddy.

(I didn't want to sell it, but he didn't have a uni and I couldn't let him go to the game not representing, so what the hell)
