Loser,

(Horrible self esteem identity, but I digress...)

Where is the "FACT" the team is not staying with the Ferragamos?

Not saying they are, but FACT needs to be substantiated.

I am good with most but any thing but those HORRIBLE St Louis blueberries with cosmic gold (Good Lord) that some I guess loved.

GO LA RAMS!!!

said the 2020 uniforms would be a new design which, to me, opens the door for a nike eye-sore, or some ugly concept that the current decision makers fancy as cool, modern, cutting edge... that said, it seems very clear that the helmet horns will always stay, so at least they have something great to work with. here's what demoff said at the presser:

"...and in 2020, when we kick off with you in inglewood, we will unleash our new design reflective of your input, our history, and one of the greatest icons in sports - the horns.

Call me an optimist, but I never expected a 100% replication of a 1970's uniform, but this says something of the like.

I have no doubt if they are not what old fans prefer as the 60's to the 70's uniform this board will explode with objection.

I have always been open to change. Tasteful change.

Why don't we all wait and see before you get your panties in a wad.

A huge weight has been lifted off the Rams now that the NFL has basically allowed them to make their blue-and-yellow throwbacks their primary uniforms. Fans have been clamoring for that since they moved out here in 2016. Last year, they were the butt of jokes because they removed the gold from their pants and helmets but the NFL didn't allow them to remove it from their jerseys, creating mismatched combinations. The NFL basically made an exception in this case because there wasn't much precedent for it. The Rams sent the NFL all the fan complaints via email and social media, which helped push this over the edge. The fact they're playing five prime-time games also helped.

this is at least the second time i've read/heard this and it still doesn't make sense... the rams play 20 preseason/regular season games and they'll sport their ferragamo's in 5 and their navy/whites in 13 - but 5 games make the ferragamo's "basically" their primary uniforms? that said, you could certainly argue that they will become the primary home uniforms, they'll sport them in 5 of the 7 regular season games played at the coliseum and, according to demoff, they'll sport them during any postseason home games...

anyway here's the 2018 uniform schedule, h = home games at the coliseum:

panties in a wad? really? mama mia.

for the record i'm open to change too, i'm apparently one of the very few who liked the millenium blue and gold, of course also dug the ferragamo's (altho they were a real shocker in 1973), and will always have a soft spot for the blue/whites... what i don't like are jaguar-esque nike concepts, the cleveland browns concepts of late, the vikes matte lavender, the more than a few nike eye-sore designs that got green-lighted... so excuse me for expressing nervousness when the topic of "new uniforms" rears its ugly head.

I don't think anyone really liked them. When my brother in law did his man cave in 2007- 2008 in his St. Louis home it was with the old colors. We had a real hard time with the carpet.

I didn't mean you personally.

Just the point.

But, you liked the "millenium blue and gold"?

Yikes!

Try not to get worked up in a meaningless subject. :)

A redesign from what? Right now the official uniform of the blueberries and cosmic gold?

My money is it is going to be MUCH closer to what the LA RAMS wore before the move to St Loser than your crappy blueberries they left St Screwus with us.

No doubt.

to the point of telling folks not to get their panties in wad? ok, i'll try not to, ha ha.

millenium blue & gold? yeah, i liked them fine, especially the whites, maybe it's because i picked up a couple of game used helmets from that era and they were sharp as hell... but i think dome lighting really screwed with the look, and i never liked the blue/blue.

meaningless stuff? in the scheme of things no doubt, but meaningful enough for the rams top exec to call a presser to speak specifically to the topic, which was followed by a bunch of articles, fans clearly care about unis.
