Haley has a bad rep for not getting along with others. So when the HC and franchise qb want you out, and your contract is up, it doesn’t bode well

Titans name Texans' DC Mike Vrabel Head Coach.

I certainly am not impressed by this move on paper.

EDIT: "DC"

I guess if I had to choose, I'd rather LaFleur stayed but is continuity at the QB coach position really pivotal? When a team change's HC's, OC's or systems I can see the concern over continuity being broken but I guess I'm just not too worried about McVay finding someone else to be his QB coach for Goff.

Me too !!! I don't see why he would take that gig when he has the same gig in LA and a program which is rising fast. .

Well, if not calling plays as OC kept him from getting the HC job, taking an OC job where he would call plays would seem a wise move. That said, hard to believe Tennessee would pair a defensive HC with an inexperienced OC. You'd think someone should have experience there

The next step for LaFleur is to call plays and i'm sure at some point someone is going to give him the opportunity, not sure it will be this year though...
