The current plan is to have a retractable roof place open in 2026 and build in the parking lots between Nissan Stadium and Interstate 24. The downside is that will take half (or more) of their parking.

New York will kick in $600 million, after Gov. Kathy Hochul secured funding in the state’s annual budget.
NFL owners will loan the team $200 million, which will be paid back through ticket sales provided to visiting teams over the coming decades.
Team owners Kim and Terry Pegula will cover the balance of the costs, an estimated $350 million.

Again as a reminder, Governor Hochul's husband is a VP at the Buffalo based Delaware North concessions company. Nothing dicey going on there at all.

wow, not having enough/blocked exits is a huge no no in the Fire Service.. that is one serious violation right there.. all big "loss of life fires", have exactly what your looking at.. yikes!!! (the 2:30 clip below is a very well done mock-up of the Whitesnake RI Fire Tragedy). it's a good lesson in how to behave in any structure fire. they showed us the FD/PD footage, and it was horrible.. you can imagine how the audio sounded, just awful:(
