I don't think they will do Warriors. Word is, they won't use any imagery associated with First Nations peoples. "Warriors" just can't help but sound like it does that. I mean I know technically it doesn't. But, it would be hard to separate it from that.

How about The Lobbyists? Then their motto could be "we're in charge." Their logo could be a smiling guy in a suit with a briefcase.

Near as we know, actual literal filibustering as a technique in a political body goes back to the Romans.

The recognizable tribes of First Nations peoples existed hundreds of years before the Romans.

(They were people of course in North American for thousands of years but it took time for them to become the tribal people of the First Nations.)
