Look at the size of the shoulder horns from the 80's compared to the Nike disaster throwback. The color is off too but the shoulder horn isn't close and the numbers are scrawnier.

Awful. As much as I want them to return to the "real" uniforms, I keep saying if Nike gives us the same crap as the throwbacks then don't bother. But is it Nike's fault or the Rams exec that green lit the damn things? It's not like the Cowboys, Packers, Steelers, etc. all had their classic uni's fucked up so it has me nervous that whoever's in charge of these things for the Rams has been blind since birth.

I truly hope when they go back to the blue & gold, they won't use the yellow from the Nike throwback, they will go with the mustard from yesteryear with the blue & whites (the all whites) as the throwbacks that they always don against the Whiners and any other original NFL team that they play that year.

Oh my, look how young Norv Turner is. Mark Herrmann was the original Jamie Martin. Delpino was one of my favorites back in the day, made some really tough, clutch plays. In fact, i liked him so much 39 was my answering machine code...

Yessir. Just like the horns on the helmet. The blind man is making everything skinnier. The '50s horns were the most authentic but a bit to wide. The 60's through 70's they were perfect. They slowly started thinning after that where they are becoming more like stiletto stripes now.
I swear I'm going to find out who does their uniform design and if they are staying behind in StL I might apply for the job. I'd take no salary just to fix it. I have a design back round but more so a clear memory of when the uniforms were better and why they were.
