I will take that as a happy ending to the year but this win felt like an early gift. It was a huge win against our division leader on the road.

I agree Haksaw.....Cook needs to catch those balls when they hit him in the hands and not hitting the gas pedal made the finish closer than it should've been.

Cook is lazy. He is very talented, but seemingly has no heart.

We have enough to make this offense good.

There was a point during the game where our O made a bad play and the camera when to Cignetti and he looked as annoyed as me, shaking his head.....however. Come tomorrow, I am going to go about my business of planning trade shows and then watch the Rams next Sunday. Cignetti better damn well make sure his ass is fixing whatever pissed him off.

I think the "fire coach" thing is overrated.

Perhaps "catch the ball Cook"?

Exactly my stance. This was a hard fought game and to blame the win/loss on one given play or another would be wrong. One play here or there makes the difference in the game. Young players growing up just had a huge road win.

If by some chance the Cardinals had a punt return for a TD at the end. There would be tons of people all over Fisher. The HC is one play away from a fire storm.

Awesome to see the Rams win today and the blame game gets pushed off until next week. 8-)

I'm not out for his head either, but I was hollering at the TV when they were running those super ultra conservative non-aggressive plays before that..

Now Cook has my attention/ He's not pulling the ball in. He has to work on his hands. Hes fast for a big, but c'mon man..

Seems to me, with some improved execution and opening more of the playbook the Rams O could become good enough. Our D is badass

No joke, Cook is getting on my nerves. It's frustrating.

LA (if) will draw FA's. The much improved team and gelling system will too. A few holes to fill and this team will solid, young and good to go for years.
Pick up a solid TE due to Fishes style and draft that #1 type receiver (if we pick early enough). The Rams will be back.

a more sophisticated offensive minded HC would not put us in the position of losing games due to one mistake. with this D, we should be blowing out teams.

At Oxnard, I instinctively moved away from getting his autograph. I felt kinda bad, but he just annoys me.

I'm not joining you on the dislike of Fisher. But, he clearly has no clue on Offense. He needs to hire a major OC immediately.

I've never met Cookie, but he does seem like a very likeable guy to me. I don't get the poor blocking and dropped passes. At some point, isn't it on the WR coach to figure out a way to motivate Cook, or to recommend that he be cut/traded? Either fix it or cut loose. Why allow this to continue?

I don't dislike Fisher, I just want a HC who respects the modern NFL offense. And I'm also left wondering why he has not been able to secure a "major OC". Perhaps there is something more to this. I've just gotta wonder if major OC's shy away from Fisher because of his unwillingness to change his offensive approach to the game, or to provide the OC with much needed independence. One has gotta wonder.

I agree with all of that.

It's clear he is Def focused and needs some help on OC. Maybe he doesn't see that? I was floored by the Cig decision.

Could you imagine a mind like Norv with our talent? We need that.
