I love the kid. He's as tough as nails. Did anybody else see him bang his hand on a pass rusher? He was shaking it after the play. Didn't seem to affect his throwing.....because he's tough.

We had 2 years of perfect OL health and he excelled. Once we get back to that or better, have 7 or 8 guys fully capable of doing the job, he'll be everybody's boy again.

Entirely true. I was at the first game he played in Seattle, he ran towards the sideline and Earl Thomas gave him a total shot before he made the line. I thought he was done after that hit... nope. He played on. Spot on with the protection, it is obvious that when he has it, the ball is thrown with great accuracy, velocity and of course depth. Having deep threats, a dangerous RB and a line is text book success for most teams but Goff is one of those guys that exceeds in that scenario. These guys were unstoppable at times and Goff was a major part of that.

Pretty sad if a few Rams fans don't like it when Goff has a good game. If the quarterback plays well the team usually wins. Hard to understand why they wouldn't like it.

Goff was set up to succeed by McVay. That happened for 2 seasons. Now he's not.

Lots of things have led to this, but Goff himself hasn't been good either.

I'm not saying he needs to be replaced. But if he comes back next year and has the same type of season as this year, then yes you need to consider it.

Just to be clear, I'm not in the wanting Goff to fail group.I love it when he has a good game. I don't want him to fail at all.

I've been a fan 40 years and rooted for guys like Steve Dils, Jeff Kemp, Steve Walsh and Tony Banks to succeed and I'm no different now.

But I'm also a realist and I've seen this happen many times. If goff comes back next year and looks like he did in 2018, no problem, but getting it back isn't easy. I hope he comes through.

I don't know if anyone here actually enjoys it when he struggles. I just know human nature being what it is, when someone argues a point long enough, he/she want events to back that point up.

During the Bradford years it was clear people enjoyed his struggles when they were arguing with his supporters. I never want to get to that point. It makes rooting for my team no fun if I want to see the most important position struggle so I can say I told you so. I'd rather be a Goff "mom" than a Goff hater. If Goff ever leaves then I can criticize him all I want. I did that when Bradford was traded. But not before.

I think there are very few, if any Rams fans rooting "against" Goff. Regardless of how much you like or dislike a player, if you want your team to win then you aren't going to be able to truly root against your own QB.

I went through that with Banks. Couldn't stand that guy but it still killed me when he came up short against the Vikings.

I really doubt there is a Rams fan that wants Goff to fail. Not 1.

We are all hyper sensitive about our guys and anyone overeacting is probably posting through that filter.

Imo, the state of the Rams is so far ahead of most we just need to sit back and enjoy. Even those bumps and bruises. That's what happens when 53 moving parts try to keep meshing against changing variables.

Even if all is lost, we have the history and the horns to carry is all until next year. But all is not lost...

GO RAMS !!! To infinity and beyond!!!

It's hard to believe Goff will have a hard time reaching 20 tds. I know stats don't matter but man i think we all expected more
