Updating colors could mean a few things...

Could mean simply changing shades or tones.

Could mean changing one, or both colors completely.

Could mean just using the same color's differently.

Could mean using the same colors and adding more.

None of us are really going to know until they show us.

I have no idea which one they will do. But clearly they aren’t leaving them like they look in the 70’s throwbacks.

I also did not want to sign up for the trial offer so didn’t hear it. But everything I’ve heard up until this point makes me believe that the colors of the new uniform will be blue and yellow. Not exactly the same as the current throwbacks but similar. I suspect that the blue will be a little darker.

listening to demoff talk unis my two biggest takeaways were:

1. adios blue / white save for a possible throwback option... it seems that the rams went with the (apparently interim) blue / white uniforms because it was one of the very limited options permitted by the league once the rams returned to l.a.

2. my worst fears have been confirmed - demoff and company clearly do feel it's important to match the uniforms with the "futuristic" look and feel of the new stadium... gee, if we're really lucky, maybe they'll roll out a digital font for the jersey numbers, a la tampa bay, 'cause that looks so sharp!

Ok, so the direct quote "Seeing as how we're going to be changing the logo and updating the colors..."

Yes, he says it BUT, I find it interesting that it sounds (to me anyway) like he's only talking about our ACTUAL uniforms. I think a lot of us have adopted the throwback as our official uniforms, and the fact is, they're not. I think Demoff is speaking strictly about our current uniforms; the St. Louis Rams uniforms.

I agree, the blue and whites are off the table. For a number of reasons. But I'm not so sure we're not going to get a modern version of the blue and yellow.

He's line about not going back to the 70's unis, but not ignoring them either seems like a hint in the right direction.

But right now, it's all guess work.

I haven't heard any of the quotes so when he says that they are updating the colors and changing the logo, doesn't that mean from the current blue/white? Sounds like maybe they are updating TO blue and yellow.

Only thing I’ll add is that I’m relieved demoff said the color won’t be aqua cause that’s the color sofi is using in their tweets. It’s horrible.
