Some of you just seem shocked that there would be any positive comments or defense of the new uniforms on this thread.

Guess we need something to be passionate about until the games start.

I still look forward to seeing the new unis in action.

PS I like the bone color better than plain white.

Yes, but I think its clear he's seeing what I'm seeing, which is a shouting down of any positive conversation.

Bottom line is, its a matter of taste. As the poll shows, the consensus here is more positive than negative, even if most of us would have preferred that they just go back to the throwbacks.

I really don't see anyone saying they are "suppressed" or "shouting down any positive conversation". I also don't think anyone is surprised that some people like them. I DO however, see the posters who don't like them are more vocal than those who do like them. Nothing is stopping the "pro new uni" people from posting about how cool they are.

Just like reading Product reviews on anything. You are going to see more posts\reviews from people who are not happy with a product as opposed to people who are happy with something.

I wish I did like them but I don't. I am glad you do. What is you like so much about the Bone color AR? I will say that I like the bone best with yellow pants. I just wish the Bone had more color than it does. Some Blue and Yellow would go a long way in making them "pop"/

Same for the Blue uni. It should be Blue over Yellow. Without the Yellow pants, it just looks like a color rush uni to me.

To me, it has an old-school, kind of gritty look to it. Kind of like the Penn State or old Baltimore Colt uniforms.

I wish that they didn't go with the shiny/plastic looking letters/numbers, though. I'd like it better with more a matte finish. That would fit with the old-school theme.

I also think this is just a phase. Some day, we'll go back to the throwbacks...

I get it. I agree with you on the plastic numbers AR. A matte finish would be much better. They could also do away with the gradient too.

I think full color matte finish on the blue's would make it pop more too. The gradient takes a little away from the power of the yellow with the blue.

I agree with the yellow pants argument with both blue and bone jerseys. But I've been fighting the issue of "which pants look better with which jersey" ever since the STL colors ditched the gold pants.

I wasn't a fan of the Millennium Blue and New Century Gold unis, but I didn't think they looked that bad with the gold pants. Once those were gone, I thought it looked terrible.

So while I still think the yellow pants would look better on the new unis, I can no longer work up any energy to worry about it. The Rams don't pay any attention to what I think looks good anyway, so it doesn't do me any good to complain.
