Funny how opposing fan takeovers are okay in Vegas and LA, but a horrible mark of shame for St. Louis.

That being said its easy to get to get Vegas from Chicago. There might as many, if not more non stop flights between Chicago and Vegas than LA or the Bay Area now that Southwest also flies out of ORD.

I also bet the Cowboys and Texans take over Allegiant because of the ease of flights.

The city/town of Arlington Heights doesn't have the public money to fund a stadium. In addition the Cook County political machine won't facilitate an in-county move from the lakefront to the suburbs.

The whole point of using a TIF is to finance a stadium when a local government doesn’t have money.

They could 100% TIF Arlington Heights and still not have enough. Maybe they could have found enough TIF money back when stadiums cost $300 million to $500 million. But now that $1 billion stadiums are crap, $2 billion is average and $6 billion is the new gold standard it makes things a lot tougher.

Not so sure about the Charger fan base but with their QB and while playing good football, that should change.
Those new LA fans could have been LA Rams fans.

LA and Vegas to a certain degree are melting pots. 15 million folks from all over the country. It stands to reason a % of the locals who came from elsewhere would go see their 'home team's play here. It's that way everywhere but just to a much larger scale it's much larger scale here and it is to be expected. Still don't like it though..

The big difference is enclosing the one end of the stadium that's currently fairly open.

-They mention new locker rooms. I'm guessing that includes a new suite of monitoring equipment in the visitor's locker room.
