I don't know why but I'm less anxious about this game than last week's game. Is it because I have a feeling we're gonna win? Or is it because I know its a great season no matter what happens? Maybe a little of both?

Odd but true. I'm not satisfied, but if we lose, being in the CCG so quickly PF (post Fishhead) I do feel a bit quenched. But I know we all want more. The Lombardi will help erase a lot of the bad memories of being the worst offense in the league for all those years and resembling the label SOSAR.

I've got a 1979 Rams season vibe :idea2: :arrow2: 8-) ....
...ie. we were written off early that season long ago due to poor record mid-season and losing starting QB Pat Haden.

In 2018, our late mid-season "slump" had all the talking heads also writing us off, talking about :
-Rams peaking too soon
-Todd Gurley's swollen knee & sudden ineffectiveness
-Goff losing his mojo and confidence
-and my favorite....THE RAMS BEING A "SOFT TEAM"
etc etc etc

Remember what happened when the 9-7 Los Ramos backed into the 1979 Playoffs???

I want to advance to be SuperBowl Underdogs.....just like we did in 1979!!! :idea2:

Good call - only gave up 290 yards to the Saints. Really, really good defense.

Looks like I got my wish about going into SB LIII as an underdog eh? ;)

Although, being 1 point underdogs versus the 2018 New England Patsies, is far better (AND EASIER) than being the 11 point underdogs against Chuck Knoll's 1979 powerhouse Pittsburgh Steelers, eh! :idea2:

I don't know about the rest of you guys, but after our anemic....and I mean, totally anemic Offense that we trotted out there in that 0-13 First Quarter, with our guys struggling like deaf-mutes just trying to hear the play and snap-count....and zero First Downs....I mean, I was screaming so loud at the TV, my wife was worried the neighbours might call 911...……."to report a disturbance." :shock2:

Somehow, incredibly.....we rally with an incredulous Fake Punt from what?, our 30 yardline??? :o we start to inch our way back.....
and then...…. with our one (and only) really big play in the First Half, Brandon DefinitelyWorthAFirstRoundPick!!! Cooks put us in scoring position....and Todd Mr.Touchdowns Gurley, suddenly had us at only 10-13!!! WOW.....that was real tenacious razors-edge football by our guys, right fooking there Ramsnation!!!!!!! :idea2:

Goff and the Offense got going in the Second Half and rediscovered our mojo....started moving the chains and rattling the Saints D....and scoring points.....
thank you Mr. Zuerlein!!!!!! :idea2: :idea2: :arrow2: :!2:

and Los Ramos Defense???!!
….the Defense just kept battling, scratching, clawing.....
very, very inspired play against a crafty NFL Offensive Minded HC in Sean Payton, against a future HOFer QB Drew Brees, against a very formidable RB duo of Ingram and Kamara, and an AllWorld WR Michael Thomas.....in an stadium environment that made Nuremburg 1933 seem like Study Hall in the library.
Somehow, someway.....WE OVERCAME ALL OF THAT!! :idea2: :arrow2: :!2:

In the end, we hung on by our fingernails and won.....
think about it...….
we never ever led in this whole fooking game.....
…..UNTIL GREG MEGA-LEG ZUERLEIN BOOTS THRU A 57 YARDER IN OT!!! :idea2:

WHAT A GREAT DAY TO BE A RAMS FAN!!! :idea2: :arrow2: :!2: :arrow2: 8-)

Sammy 4 catches 114 yards vs Pats.

Unfortunately he has been besieged by injury...his talent is unquestioned.

At least by adults.
