Cooks average with this year and extension is 14,666,666/year. Watkins 16 a year for three years. IMO Cooks is better than Watkins and at a better price (plus not negotiating again in three years).

Great move Rams!

wasn't as a big watkins fan, didn't think as highly of him as others when the rams signed him (probably because i don't watch ncaa ball), but thought the same in terms of his age, that he was still very young and could develop with goff for years to come... glad the rams moved on, and instead went out and got another young wr in cooks.

Agree.

When you consider the $16 mil per doesn't kick in until 2019 and goes till 2023, time value of money, NFL salary cap going up every year, it is less than what KC is paying Sammy.

Of course we don't know all the details, or what's guaranteed but, yeah, i like it...

It always blows my mind that Watkins, Cooks and Kupp are all the same age.

When Kupp's 2nd contract rolls around, he's gonna be an old man...

I thought we learned our lesson with Foles. Apparently not.

Foles didn’t have the track record Cooks has in this league.

Also Fisher was the coach, so any QB would not succeed.
