I know this isn’t popular, but the fixation on the Rams uniforms is extremely weird to me. I do not get it at all. Get some help. You guys are strange.

Demoff agreed with me with his eyes, in the one time I met him.

Just do not know what you are on about. Like, who cares?

For all the good things the Rams have done in the last couple of years I have absolutely no faith in their sincerity or ability to fix the uniforms. They have continually made the situation worse over the last 20 years and there is no evidence to suggest they will get it right when and if they ever do make a change.

Not that it's an issue since they'll NEVER go back to the Ferragamo's, but the horn on the sleeve not working is B.S. Faulk wore tucked sleeves in '99 and it worked just fine. It isn't an issue to have the proper design of the uniform it's just an invalid excuse.

If Demoff agrees that the uniform is a non-issue and that looking like shit is acceptable, then I don't mind saying he's the problem. Having pride in one's colors and appearance isn't irrelevant. It represents tradition and symbolizes identity and character. Shitting on those things and not caring is the problem. Not the other way around.

Good chance I am a little older than you, Red. I harken back to this song.

The problem with the sleeve is that Nike isn't doing it correctly.

So you can see that the scrawny shoulder horn isn't working because it isn't the same. It's to skinny which matches the problem with the helmet horn. Agreed the shorter, tight fit sleeve would work still, just not as well imo.

I agree with this in rebuttal to @ramsrams May 03 post. Of course the quality / style of play, winning record, health of our players, where they play, yada yada is more important. But as you pointed out, the colors represent our nostalgic history and that should be represented properly too.
If Demoff came off like he thought the uni cries from fans was/is stupid, then it's time to drop him a line. Or was he reacting to the predicament they find themselves in due to lack of consideration and planning?

I guess what sticks in my craw the most is that they were the most attractive uniform in the NFL and Georgia screwed them up. Now no one either cares or has an ounce of tradition or artistic awareness. Bummer.

PS: I really miss the TB white road jersey the most.

Hacksaw, by strange I do not mean I think it is wrong, or a bad thing. It is just not the way my mind works. Frankly, I do not remember the different color schemes, because I do not care. I can remember the driver number of someone that took a package to Owen Sound in 1994, amongst a business that did 1900 transactions a day, but if you ask me when it was blue, white, gold, yellow, etc., I could not tell you.

Only thing I can remember about them was how God awful those mustard ones were in a Thursday night Cards game a couple of seasons ago. Puke inducing.

You have a good mind. Mine ain’t so bad either.

To each his own brother. I just loved the Ferragamo's in their day. I'm hoping the new uni's incorporate the right colors now.

So when you had your encounter with Demoff do you think you might have misread " the eye roll"? That is a real tell.

You don't go back to the throwback because people already buy those. I think they'll come up with something much more modern, but very cool.

Hope you are right.

eye of the beholder i guess... i laughed out loud when the blue/yellow unis were introduced in 1973, so did meredith and cosell when the rams played their first mnf game in their new unis, they joked about them for at least 10 minutes prior to kickoff... moreover i never had much of a prob with the "st. louis" unis, save for the skinny horn decals, not my faves but i never thought they were as awful as more than a few apparently did.

1999 was a long time ago, jerseys have changed considerably since, even skill position player jerseys, how on earth do you put a sleeve horn on the following jersey that would look remotely good, that would look remotely like the vintage late 70s / 80s "ferragamo" jerseys that everyone loves to point to as what the rams should return to?
