Although more likely today than yesterday, this tells me McVay thinks he can win with this offense.

Just clean up the defense a little more.

I am feeling pretty darn confident right now.

LMFAO!!!!!

Yeah, New Orleans may be attractive as a potential SB team but are the Rams really that far behind? The Saints and Rams trajectories may be close right now but they're headed towards different points on the compass.

All things equal, and maybe even if they’re not like having to sign for a bit less with the Rams, he’ll pick LA.

LA, New Orleans or Nashville....It’s the Rams all the way!

Get it done Les

The RAMS are like a nice house, that is for sale, in a district with great schools. The realtor, Sean McVay, just sits back and waits for the eager buyers, free agents, to come on in.

I don't really see how we can afford to pay him. The consensus was that he is the epitome of a mercenary player. That he will sign for the team that pays him the most. I would be very very surprised if we have a real shot at him.

His character is also an issue. Although if J-Hekk approves of him so do I. Lol.

SWA dude makes a good point that Sean, even with letting Watkins walk thinks he can win with this offense. With the turn around he's made with this team why would I doubt him.

Lets get that SB baby.

Ndamukong Suh's latest free-agent visit: the Rams

Jordan SchultzShutdown CornerMar 19, 2018, 1:48 PM

Ndamukong Suh, who is entering the week as the top available player in NFL free agency, will visit the Los Angeles Rams on Tuesday in Thousand Oaks, California, he told Yahoo Sports.

The trip follows weekend visits with the New Orleans Saints and Tennessee Titans. Much like Tennessee and New Orleans, the Rams can sell an elite defensive line, featuring last season’s Defensive Player of the Year in fellow defensive tackle Aaron Donald. Unlike those two teams though, they really do not have a hole or a need in the middle of their line, which means even more help for Suh, should he sign there.

The Rams, who won the NFC West last season, also boast the likes of Wade Phillips, a highly respected defensive coordinator with a wealth of experience and the full support of head coach Sean McVay. Phillips runs a 3-4 defense – different from the 4-3 in which Suh has excelled – but it’s one that has similar gap scheme as a 4-3. In other words, the 6-foot-4, 305 pound Suh can still create havoc on the quarterback and an opponent’s backfield.

With the aid of Donald and the versatile Michael Brockers, the Rams, who will ultimately have about $25 million in salary-cap space, offer a strong opportunity for individual and team success.

To be sure, money will play a role in who lands Suh. The Seattle Seahawks and Dallas Cowboys – who are also interested – have to be creative about offering Suh a contract. In Seattle’s case, with defensive tackle Sheldon Richardson having signed with Minnesota, the team has more money available. But culture also matters. So, too, does the opportunity to legitimately contend for a Super Bowl, which he didn’t have in either Detroit or Miami.

Few, if any, have been more productive or durable than the 31-year-old Suh. From 2010 to 2017, the former No. 2 overall pick of the Detroit Lions has amassed 51.5 sacks, second only to Geno Atkins for the most among defensive tackles. He has played at least 800 snaps in seven of his eight professional seasons.

There are also reports, he's not out for the money. He's out for the wins. WTF, he pocketed a boatload of guaranteed cash from Miami (77 mil from 2015 through 2018). Hell if he played for free in 2018 he'd still make 17 million!!!

He's the typical player with a character flaw when he's on the other team. By most accounts I've read, his teammates love him. He's got that mean streak.

He's both talented and affordable but do we want him? Does he want us?

Is he affordable though? How much do you think we'll offer? Has to start with 10-12M right?
