I was wondering why my local CBS is showing the Rams games. I thought they only did AFC games. I have Sunday Ticket and this is the 3rd out of the first 5 games they show the Rams on my local channel. That figures. Well, at least I got Sunday Ticket free this year.

From Wikipedia:

After a Broncos-Vikings game was moved to Fox in 2011 because of Fox having a lack of games, the NFL permanently instituted a "cross-flex" policy in 2014 allowing Fox games to be moved to CBS and CBS games moved to Fox to protect each local market; this effectively guarantees each Fox and CBS affiliate in a team's primary market to carry at least one game from the team during the season. With CBS later also picking up most Thursday games, which are not designated by conference, CBS will air many more NFC games than Fox will air AFC games. For example, when Fox aired AFC game during week 6 of the 2014 season, CBS had already aired four NFC games to that point in the season (two on Thursdays and two on Sundays).

We win in that combo. The pack will be wearing green shirts which will conceal all the grass stains they'll get by Rams pounding them in to the turf. lol

Though i have to think GW was at least partly just trying to get into Manning's head before the biggest game of them all.

New Orleans really did beat the crap out of Kurt Warner and Brett Favre that year in the playoffs...

speaking of the saints, just what the doctored ordered for bradford i'm guessing, to get on track, the saints feature the league's worst pass defense...

offensive points allowed - 28th
qb rating allowed - 32nd
pass yards per attempt allowed - 32nd
tds per pass attempt allowed - 27th
interceptions per pass attempt - tied for last

how opposing qbs have fared:

plamer - 3 tds, 0 picks, 112.8 qb rating... it's palmer's highest qb rating of the season and his 10th highest rating in 147 career starts.
winston - 1 td, o picks, 114.6 qb rating.... it's winston's highest qb rating of the season.
newton - 2 tds, 0 picks, 119.7 qb rating... it's newton's highest qb rating of the season and his 9th highest rating in 66 career starts.
weeden - 1 td, 0 picks, 105.6 qb rating... it's weeden's highest rating of the season and his 2nd highest rating in 23 career starts.
