Hopefully bye week practice was working on heavy dose of play-action..

my guess is the chart would look roughly the same when looking at non play-action passing, i.e. many of the worst and best teams shown in the chart would also be among the worst and best for npa.

Every thing is just too hunky-dory. I don't think I like it.

viewtopic.php?f=3&t=6739&p=96120#p96120...... continued.

QFTOS: NY Giants, Pre-Game Edition.

I sat through the 15 years of lousy football.
I have never seen the New York Football GIANTS in worse shape than they are today.
Despite having some outstanding players, this organization is terminally broken.

Is it merely a coincidence that the suspensions involved two Pro Bowl players in the defensive backfield? Perhaps. But something smells fishy. And this bears watching – especially by those who think Steve Spagnuolo might be a viable candidate to replace McAdoo.

The Giants were given no chance against the Broncos -- I pretty much give them no chance again this Sunday.

I'm gonna take my kid and my 92 year old grandfather to go see Thor Sunday afternoon. Better to spend time with them than to watch this team implode on a weekly basis

down by the constant three and outs of the offense. Just like the Seattle game. 21-10 Rams. Boo.

By all logic, the Giants should get destroyed against the Rams. The Rams should have no problem beating the Giants.

Hiking in Wayawyanda.... Why waste a beautiful Sunday afternoon on these clowns?

The Giants are a bad football team, have been for some time now. They are going to lose Sunday.

Does playing at home count with this team ?
I will go with the Rams to cover .....

Eli wins if he survives, regardless of the score.
I just don't see G-men winning unless its with the D.
I wonder if the Rams would take Jackrabbit back this offseason?

had their way against a Cardinals porous offensive line and immobile quarterback who had receiving weapons in London once it was apparent they would not be able to run the ball against them.

The game will be close for maybe a half. But then the Rams will pull away, force the Giants into throwing every down because they can't run it, and the game will disintegrate.

On no....we're screwed,

Rams Simulate Playing Giants by Pumping Crowd Groans Into Speakers

In all seriousness, hopefully the noise they simulated was noise from opposing team's fans making themselves at home in Met Life like Seattle fans did in the last game. Or Lions fans in week 2 of MNF. Or maybe they simulated a chorus of boos.

The head coach is clearly not respected by the team. He's lost control of the lockerroom and cant coach the team on the field. He should be fired...step one in a complete house cleaning.

Been following this team for decades and have never seen anything like this before that I can recall.

I am guessing analysts won't be bashed this week like they were last week when majority picked Hawks to win.
Also goes to show you what a mess Broncos have become for us to get our only win vs. them so depleted. Their HC has some splainin to do….

Say the name “McVay” to a Giants fan of a certain age, then stand back to hear a spew.
John McVay was the Giants’ head coach for 2¹/₂ seasons during the lean years of the mid-to-late ’70s. His 14-23 record included the most infamous loss in team history — the Nov. 19, 1978, “The Fumble,” which ended with Joe Piscarcik’s botched handoff to Larry Csonka being returned for a touchdown by Herman Edwards to give the Eagles an impossible 19-17 win.

t’s a 1 p.m. Eastern start for a West Coast team, but the effects should be minimized because of the one-hour “fall back” and the fact the Rams are coming off a bye. The Giants have won and covered their past seven against the Rams, but this is the dawn of a new McVay.

The Rams are 5-2, but I cannot buy into them as one of the NFC’s elite teams quite yet. They have good wins, but no great ones, and this is a tricky spot for a young team:

Even with Janoris Jenkins suspended, the Giants’ defense should be able to make some plays against Jared Goff

Remember when this game looked like an easy W during a post-bye-week break when the Giants were supposed to pad their record? Instead, the Giants are 1-6 while the 5-2 Rams are looking for a victory that would establish them as a true playoff contender.

the giants have been to the super bowl twice in the last 10 years, winning it once, and finished 11-5 last season.... this guy clearly has no idea what "have been bad for some time now" means.
