I believe I have heard in the past the meat is used and/or given to orphanages or such and I have also heard the meat is used to feed other predators that hunt the animals in nature.Which again I am only going by what I have heard, I have not pulled up any articles or done any research to fact check if what I have said I heard is in fact the case or not.For those who seek it just for the thrill I can make no judgement call. They are making it a rich man's game. My wife was a peta member until she met me and the German Shorthair Pointers I had at that time (Smoker, Stuffer and Nolan). Now she eats pheasant quail and dove. What turned her around was seeing how happy the dogs were to be going hunting. The first three are gone and lost my fourth Shorthair Prairie last year.
