Bless you Tom.

Lord knows, one of the things that gets us through the, umm, dry patches in life is a sense of humor. ( there, spelled it the American way as a show of deference)

Always appreciate yours. It is intelligent.

Cheers to ya!

Nope
If you lose you pay 2k and if you win you win $2,200
If you place the bet and the wager comes out of pocket, like in horse racing, you would cah in 4,200

So you get back total 4,200.

Without doing a google search, yeah you get your 2000 back plus 2200. If the Rams won only one game you would be under and they keep your 2000.
I think...... ;)

Thank you gentlemen.
That makes way more sense. Thanks for the lesson. I suddenly feel G.A. could be in my future. lol..

I understand why these predictions don't look good for us. As fans we're biased. We look at the defense as a proven commodity. Top ten caliber. Then we look at the offense and say if they can improve to mediocre or slightly worse with that defense, they will win more games than they lose.

The objective pundits don't look at it like that. The offense has not proven to be close to mediocre. Goff has accomplished nothing yet. Hence, they predict less wins than us. Until the Rams start winning more games we will see more of the same.

Just because we pay more attention doesn't make us correct. Just because they pay less attention, doesn't make them right either. That's why they play the games..

If we assume the defense and special teams will be similar to last season, and the coaching staff, especially, on the offensive side is much better, and the OL has been upgraded then the RAMS should improve upon their feeble 4 wins.

The only scary part is if the offensive personnel are not up to the task. If that's the case then McVay will have a bigger challenge.

I think it is some of each. A close relative speaks Cantonese so I try to ingratiate myself to her as much as possible.
