You know Greg Williams thinks Tru Johnson is better than any DB in this year's draft. 2. Cleveland has 2 firsts (1 and 12); 2 seconds (33 and 52); a 3rd (65) and 2 fourths (108 and 142)They might think Tru is worth the #33 or the #52 and 108. The first would give us 33 & 37 in the 2nd. The second would give us 37, 52 in the 2nd, 69 in the 3rd and 108, 112 and 141 in the 4th. I'd take 6 of the first 141 picks and roll with that. So once the top few corners in free agency get deals, IF there are still teams anxious and willing to pony up for a CB, Tru's market value....in terms of both salary and draft picks...rises somewhat. An aside to this subject but concerning "what we gave up for Goff" or "how much we're in need of draft picks", we are fine IMHO. I appreciate(d) his efforts, but a high second and some garbage late in the draft would be terrific. I wish him well. He'll make a good Safety someday. by dieterbrock 8 years 3 months ago Total posts: 11512 Joined: Mar 31 2015 New Jersey Hall of Fame Rams talking to teams interested in trading for Tru POST #29 I'd say he's worth a 3rd rounder at best. As a pure player he's worth a 1st but its buyer beware with that contract he carries with him. He's a 1 year rental out of the gateI'd take a 4th for him at this point by PARAM 8 years 3 months ago Total posts: 13214 Joined: Jul 15 2015 Just far enough North of Philadelphia Hall of Fame Rams talking to teams interested in trading for Tru POST #30 I'd agree, third round value, right now. Two weeks from now? Maybe higher. Maybe not. Two months from now? I'd say it changes as each day passes, each free agent signs somewhere and further down the road, each prospect comes off the board in the draft. Of course, that increasing value also pertains to Tru for the L.A. Rams. Been following the horns since the Coliseum had a Roman playing there.
