So how much cap space do the Eagles actually have?

Philadelphia has $6.65 million in dead money that is taken into account. $5.5 million come from the Sam Bradford trade, $904,000 from the Eric Rowe trade and $250,000 from Leodis McKelvin's release.

According to Spotrac, the Eagles have $153.7 million in committed players for next season. Add that to the $6.65 million in dead money and the Eagles are at $160.4 million for 2017 with a total of $174.9 million available.

The Eagles approximately have $14.5 million in available salary cap space for the 2017 season. If the Eagles were to part ways with Ryan Mathews and Connor Barwin as expected, that number will increase to $26.25 million.

Philadelphia has some work to do to make its available cap space higher, but have plenty of opportunities to execute over the coming days.

While the Eagles don't have as much room as other teams (bottom-five in the NFL in cap space), that shouldn't hinder them from signing a top wide receiver or two in free agency.

Yep.

Really hoping our Mike Thomas pans out now that he'll be playing in a legit offensive scheme with legit offensive coaches...

Not a lot of Rams rumors yet; I always like it when we sit out the 1st wave of (overpriced) free agency ...

I don't see us going after Desean with Tavon here. I hope we will use Tavon for much deeper routes; sign Garcon and seriously look at oc Mangold. As young as our oline is, it would not surprise me to see us sign TWO medium priced, oline starters
