They give him far too much credit and just gloss over all of his shortcomings. Most of which were not related to his ability to play basketball.

I don't think Gurley has made it to this stage of his career by not having a good enough work ethic but even if he needed to adjust his attitude after succumbing to the bright lights of Hollywood and advertising, Kobe isn't the one I'd suggest he be taught by. Kobe's sordid life and petulant attitude as a basketball player in no way make me think he would be good for Gurley.

Never made specific comments about Kobe being a team player, mentor, etc to start with. Yes, Kobe was talented, but do you think Kobe would have accomplished what he did if he didn't have his work ethic?

Since now we are talking about him as a mentor, I am sure you have read countless stories of him working in the early hours of the morning and his constant pursuit of perfection. You may not like him as a person but I haven't heard any other players said that Kobe was not a good mentor and player to be around. Can you imagine what Gurley or any other talented player can accomplish if they had Kobe's work ethic, drive, competitiveness, and determination?

Not a fair fight.....the Rams offensive line couldn't keep snails, ladybugs, two-legged catapillars, sloths or any other slow moving object from pummeling the quarterback.

Unless the O-line changes, the Rams will be lucky to win a game at home or on the road....and I'm not optimistic next season fares any better at this point.

Going by PFF, the Chargers had the 31st ranked Oline. Rams were 27th...

What do you know about Gurley's(or any other player's) work ethic? Are you implying that he needs to work harder? I think most players that make it to the NFL know a thing or two about work ethic. Kobe isn't the only one who puts in extra hours. The legend of his work ethic has reached Reno Hightower proportions at this point.

How does one measure any of those superlatives that your assigning to Kobe? How is he more competitive? How is he more determined?

If Rivers faced 8 in the box all day, he'd throw for 6k and 60 TD

Yep.

Gordon can talk all day long.....let's see how this season goes.

He has to say shit like this, no one in LA even knows who he is. I give him tons of credit for getting the shit talk going.

Let's go Rams!
