In truth, there's no way to know if he is or isn't. The components around him are so bad, its impossible to get an idea of what he is or isn't.

13/20 with 2 drops isn't terrible. And considering the pass plays don't test downfield throws, I don't know what we could expect.
They play directly in to the strength of the defense.
No reason to feel enthusiastic about what we saw from Goff, but on the other hand I cant fathom how you could be down on him either

the difference between say 200 (pick your number) - is, we are expecting a team to be winning. This year was simply unacceptable.

I'm going to be positive, but my god do I not want to get excited at Camp yet again to go through this hell.

I won't be enthusiastic about our team's chances next season. If the new coach wants to win right away and thinks he just needs to tweak some things, it would be another disaster. This team is far from a few tweaks.

The best thing they can do is start a total rebuild. They won't need as much on the defensive side but the offense needs everything but a quarterback and running back. And quite honestly, I'm starting to have my doubts about both of those now. I can only hope it was because of the total shitshow that Fisher left behind.

Prognosis for 2017 does not look good to me. Tweak a few things and it'll probably be another disaster. Blow it up and start over will take time. Either way likely means more losing in the first season for the new guy.

I just hope I only see it that way because of my untrained eye. I hope the new guy can come in a turn it around. Because what I see with my untrained eye tells me things will be bad in 2017 too.

The offensive product you saw was absolutely horrible. I think it is difficult for our untrained eyes to see it its talent or organizational. Especially on the offensive side of the ball. I believe there is a good chance we are a couple or three free agents with adequate coaching away from a drastic improvement. Which automatically makes our defense even better unless that gets affected in the meantime. With this kind of change that is an unfortunate distinct possibility as well.

Hang on! We are in for another hellofA ride! :)

Not so sure about the D either. 44 points. That stinks.
6 points on offense stinks worse but the D was awful. I assume that they laid down or played half ass. The problem that stuck out was that the Cardinals didn't have anymore to play for then we did and they smoked us in our house.
Heart and a will to win, pride ,, all that sort of stuff is missing from our team. This is why I have a bad feeling about next swason being much better.
Let's hope they can turn it back on.

I woke up this morning and realized the season is over. Somehow, these seem appropriate.
