What an ambiguous way to say the Rams are gone.
I haven't heard about any other cities wanting to remain relevant other that StL.
And spoken with some attitude too.

When you read all the evidence, nothing positive is happening for StL other that Peacocks Positive Pressers, or the same human decency angle about loyalty and bylaws. Nothing zip zilch nada.

Carson is having a street naming party so that's distracting FAIL at it's finest. Is it Stadium Way or Weigh?
Like when they weigh the load of crap they are hauling out in glowing tanker trucks,,, lol

Just ask this guy....

Just ask this guy....

Funny, whenever I read one of Shane Grey's articles, this is who I picture at the keyboard:

Hokahey on RRF was basically Shane Gray with an incredible wit laced with snarky responses. So in reading all this, I feel its pretty real.

"Said he wishes Peacock had been involved three years ago, and that he's the best person he's ever worked with in St. Louis."
I feel Ive been fairly impartial in this drama, but that quote is pretty much what turned whatever allegiance I had to St Louis over completely to LA.
They should have brought in Peacock as soon as the lease hit rocky terrain. I think they basically ignored Kroenke and just expected him to abide.
Once the wheels got in motion, it was too late. I've thought for a long time that St Louis only chance was for Carson to happen

I've been at RRF for many years, so my two cents on Hokahey: He's a very honest and blunt true Rams fan who can be defiant at times, but always looking out for the best interests of St. Louis Ram fans - particularly those fans who are season ticket holders and support the team financially in other ways. Never did I get the feeling he published baloney. He's a great fan - of St. Louis - and a credit to his city/area. I laughed when I read he had Demoff cornered for forty minutes. That must have been beautiful.

Pretty sure Hokahey was one of the posters who said they were a fan of St. Louis and not the Rams. Which isn't uncommon amongst some from St. Louis. I don't agree with that attitude.

Hokahey is basically a good guy who is trying very hard to keep the Rams in St. Louis. And that's admirable.

But he's also been quick to personally attack anyone who suggested the Rams might be leaving, and has viewed events in an often very biased, sometimes ludicrous way.

Once Stockbridge announced their plans to build the stadium with the Kroenke Group in Inglewood, Hokahey stopped posting at RRF...

He mad. I'm sure he's holding out hope but he can't be encouraged despite his pro active approach to play keep away.

I'm reminded of the long threads started after Kroenke spoke when he took over the Rams. Many said that St. Louis fan should be aware that his statement about his "intention" to keep the Rams in St. Louis and other ambiguous offerings shouldn't be taken lightly.

Sadly, I'm not mature enough to now feel sympathy for those who were so snide and condescending back then.
