I probably should have read the article better before i posted it.

It keeps talking about Vegas and then links to bookmaker.eu who are in Costa Rica.

And i'm pretty sure it's illegal for Vegas to offer a line on something like this.

Other than that, it's spot on...

What does any of this have to do with 22 Rams buying houses anyway? 8-)

That's actually a very good question, and not just funny. (which it is also).

The thought here is to search for some addition evidence in a completely different form that supports the Rams to LA move.

If indeed 22 Rams are buying houses in LA, and guys like us know about it, then clearly people who are willing to wager huge sums of money on any form of gambling know even more than we do.

That being the case, there is no way someone can actually bet huge sums of money that the Rams move and actually win money, unless the odds are prohibitive, and certainly not a 100 to 115 chance, as cited in this thread.

The problem is that their odds mean they think the Rams have only a 47% chance of going to LA, so either those guys either aren't serious about accepting bets or they know the Rams aren't really buying houses in LA. My guess is that their odds are just for show, but I would like to know if anyone can place a bet anywhere.

Completely arbitrary odds on NFL teams moving to Los Angeles
Monday, May 18, 2015 12:42 PM

LARams.net is no longer truly surprised at any supposition or storyline that gets thrown down the pike in relation to relocation to Los Angeles by the St. Louis Rams, San Diego Chargers or Oakland Raiders – except for one.

To wit: Why has no online bookmaker or sportsbook website offering proposition bets on an NFL franchise moving to Los Angeles?

Not sure how reliable this information is but they claim there is no internet presence of betting as on May.

Another purely speculative angle,,, I have a hunch that VIP who handed out passes could have been Vince Ferragamo. He was there. He also owns a real estate firm in OC where I image Rams players would be steered toward.

Elvis wrote:LeRoy Irvin said the same thing in our Q&A with him (he works with Vince Feragamo in OC), that he knew the Rams were coming but he couldn't say who his source is.

OTOH, all the professionals who cover the story say nothing is certain. And i have to say, if 22 Rams are house hunting in OC, that seems like it would be hard to keep quiet, lot of people in those loops.

Thanks for the info Slo, great stuff...

First thing that I thought. If this happened...Twenty Players..maybe as many realtors and all the people connected to them. In this age of social media, there is no way this keeps quiet if true..Time will tell.

Well Vince only has 12 listings so there will be seller reps involved for certain.
