Here's a link to the parking map and information. You can see where each lot is.

It says that you can't tailgate in Lot 3, but I don't see anything about Lot 1. I didn't really read it that close though.

Smaller tailgate this week than usual (half the group out of town, and they have the big screen, and 2 coming late). Son and I will be in South Lawn lot with some cold ones on ice (and maybe something stronger after watching week 1). White Isuzu Trooper, green canopy, flying Rams flag and (after we meet up with Elvis) blue RFU flag!

You are correct. Only lot 1,2,6,7 and lawn are for tailgating. I think the issue with Lot 1 was only for the first preseason game, but I would still call to confirm.

If any of you lot 6 members want to meet up so we can drive in together send me a PM.

I will have the family in tow (wife, 5 yo son, 2 yo daughter) and will try to meet up with some folks. Looks like most in lot 6 so due to having the young ones I'll probably shoot for their as their desire to roam parking lots will be nil. :D

Look forward to meeting fellow RFUers.

I honestly don't mean to alarm you and I'm probably mistaken. But... I might check into that if I was you just to be sure.

Are you confusing the parking issue/emails with tailgating? There were no tailgating issues at the Dallas game in lot 1 for us. Even though the email went out saying parking would be inhibited and costs refunded there was no problem parking and sadly for the ones who were discouraged the parking was not full. As I saw in later post there is written reference that it is allowed I lot 1 which is why I coughed up for parking. Just my actual experiences no guarantees.

It could have been the email you refer to. I just remember seeing/hearing something like that, and thought it would be prudent to double check.

Does anyone know if the parking structure passes look identical to the parking lot passes?

How closely do the attendants inspect the passes? When I parked in PSX last game mine wasn't even looked at.
