It's hard enough deciphering the horse collar and defenseless receiver rules, let alone their tie-breaking rules. I would take "strength of victory in all games" to mean point differential. It doesn't say "strength of victory in all wins". But like I said, it's tough deciphering and to be honest, I think the NFL likes it that way. Take the "comp formula" for instance......there is none that they've shown.

We could finish the 3rd, 4th, or 7th seed - or miss the playoffs altogether. Crazy final 3 weeks. Just the way the NFL wants it to be.

The key is, we have to win at least two games out of three,

and one of those two games have to be a win against AZ,

to win the division.

And then the only way to win a wild card if we lost to AZ,

If Washington loses their last three games,

and I don't see that happening.

So, AZ is our first playoff game.

Guess I didn't explain that well enough in my Strength of Victory (SoV) table.

From what I've gathered from running different scenarios in the ESPN machine, we have the advantage in both SoV and Strength of Schedule (SoS) over Seattle.

I get that we need to beat the Jets this week and hope the Seahawks lose to Vikings for any of those tiebreaker advantages mean anything, but its good to know we have an advantage going in.

If AZ loses in Carolina next week, they are eliminated b4 they play us.

I'll take that. We currently lead but every team's result the last 3 weeks will change it. Let's just win out and let the figure heads of the NFL compare 11-6 to 10-7. Easy.

I should have made it clearer, if AZ wins their last three games.

I don't care what happens in Carolina next week, we are not losing to the Cardinals again. We're winning that one.

Yes, every team's record that we and SEA won against will change over the last 3 weeks. But I will say, I ran a bunch of scenarios in the ESPN machine for every team the last 3 weeks, and it still gives us the Strength of Victory edge.

I'll wait until next week, and it will be easier to run every combination.
