I liked the chains. Would like to see a clever Rams coach utilize the chains in conjunction with video review when the chain gang is on Rams side of field. Use a distraction then have an intern or assistant coach add a few links to the chain or remove a few links from the chain before the chain gang runs onto the field to measure.

Would need to remember if the chain was shortened or lengthened before next chain measurement. I bet they never calibrate the chains after they are manufactured. So keep several coded sets of chains. Need to figure out ways to distract the chain gang. Cheerleaders could be useful.
