That's great that Kupp and Mathis are coming off the IR.

I'm sure Kupp will play,

the key is whether or not Mathis will suit up.

Hopefully Mathis has been studying the playbook,

and paying attention off the sidelines.

While rehabbing, hopefully was doing drills to keep him ready.

Sounds like the balls gonna be in the air a bit more than last week.

When you factor in the 49ers game , they might consider the real road more friendly..

I hope MCV doesn’t go all pass happy now that he has Kupp and Puka and Tutu. He can use the defense keying on stopping the pass (tons of pressures and double/bracket coverage) to kill them with the run game. And the misdirection and screen game will be necessary to execute at a high level.

Like Elvis said no sure thing Kupp plays, he needs to "return to performance" not injury.
It would be great if both he and Mathis could play as we could use both of them, but will see.

I think/hope McVay learned his lesson, you have to run the ball. I think he will, as we still need to do a better overall job of protecting Stafford.

I wouldnt say Washington is better than Indy in any way. Did you watch Howell against Buffalo, he was a mess. Indy will probably only get better with Richardson. Indy has a nice defense too.

Philly has played kinda a sluggish, had a breakout game against the vaunted Washington defense lol. Hopefully the go dormant again against the Rams. If Rams play B+ game they should be in it. Cant let Hurts get loose and cause issues. Rams will need to get TD's not FG's early.

Would be nice to that grouping WR on the field, but seems like they're productive, so no great pressure to rush players back onto the line.

A highly anticipated game that feels like an opportunity to solidify this team's identity going forward into the season.

We have two physical specimen edge rushers!!!

Young/ 6-2, 250
Mathis/ 6-5, 260

The DL would look like:
Mathis, Hoecht, Brown III, AD, Young

Then on passing downs,

They bring in Turner at NT replacing Brown III,
Turner/6-2, 288, an AD2.0, he is a better pass rusher inside.

So I can see on passing downs we could rush just four,
Mathis, Turner, AD, Young,
with a combination of one or two ILB & DBs on the backside.

Now I know why AD has been smiling alot during game time,
He knows what this team has!!!

Something I just checked, the last time we beat the Eagles, was January 27, 2002, which was the NFC Title game. That means we lost 10 straight to Philly.
