Maybe Jones is ready and the Rams would rather go back to spending that kind of dough on edge?

Either he knows more than we do or the level of uncertainty bothered him in his twilight.

Ramsey ain’t getting released. He has value in a trade. If he won’t restructure the Rams won’t let him walk. No chance. They will eat the cap hit and make move elsewhere.

Higbee and Akers, maybe even Robinson could be moved.

There will be a number of crazy moves made. Either that will result in a highly competitive team, or the remodel will be a raze the building and build something new. The latter of which will piss a lot of us off. Especially me. This team has enough pieces with the right additions/subtractions to be very good this season. You can’t waste AD, Staff, Kupp, Ramsey. You build around them any way possible for another SB run.

When Ramsey is traded for a 2nd, 4th and a 5th, yeah, we’re rebuilding. Wagner prolly sees Ramsey as gone along with Gaines, ARob, Rapp, Hll and AD still an enigma so he bailed. He had a 50 mil contract folks. He tore it up after one year to GTF outa LA. Does not bode well for 2023. Let’s hope the OLine has as much depth as they claim and McVay hasn’t lost his touch.

Ramswww you make a lot of sense. Didn’t think of it that way. He tore up a gurantee contract 50 million to go compete. Are we going to win?

You gotta think we owe to Donald Ramsey and Kupp and Stafford and Mcvay came back.

I don’t know what they up to.

Wagner played his ass off. Is it the edge? Trade for a lineman shit I don’t know. Orlando Brown? All I know is Wagner is coming off the books.

He didn’t have a $50M contract, he only had $20 guaranteed $11.5 of which has already been paid, so he left $8.5M on the table, which I guess he believes he can beat by getting released and signing a new deal.

I doubt Wagner meant that the Rams are not a winning team now. But I think its fair to say they have a lot of uncertainty. We still don't know what direction they will go.

If people want to think this will be another losing season while rebuilding, I can't agree or disagree with that. I have no idea what the season will look like. Its possible we're facing another losing season. Its also possible they can bounce back. But back to a championship caliber team? That I don't see.

You know it's bad if '64 shows up to post about it.

I'm gonna look at it like this though:

The Rams don't invest in LB. The only reason we signed Wagner is because Miller signed with Buffalo. So the Rams changed it up based on circumstances. Now, maybe, we're going back to regular order.

I'm not gonna worry too much unless Donald retires or is traded. If that happens, i will definitely get onboard the "this blows" train...

What about Ramsey, or Floyd or....? I hear a train whistle blowing off in the distance. Hoping it takes at least a season to get here.
