Some sort of appeasement move to try and keep Brady?



Will the Bucs try and keep Tom by offering the opportunity to sit in on interviews or even have final call on picking "his guy"?

I can't decide if that's to try and keep Brady or another sign he's gone. Bowles is a defensive guy. I doubt he wants to be throwing the ball all over the place but if you have Brady, or Manning, or Favre, that's what you do regardless...

Byron Leftwich was considered a top OC at one point. How much of the problems were on him? And how much on Brady? And how much on the coach/GM who didn't provide them with a decent run game forcing Brady to throw over 60 times? Whatever the case I'm sure Brady will be playing next season. He'll probably want to go to a legit contender. Are the Raiders a legit contender with him? I have my doubts with that defense. And they may let Jacobs walk.

Brady still was among the league leaders in yards and attempts so someone will give him a try but he didn’t seem very Brady like much of the year except for a drive or 2. Seems like he wants to get hit even less than before which is saying something.
I heard someone in tv saying that the Bucs might have gone to the super bowl last year if not for Kupp and Stafford’s miracle, I remember it a little differently, Brady looked pretty ordinary and had been beaten bloody til the Rams tried to give them the game on a silver platter. But that’s been Tampa this year as well, stay close and let Brady make one drive to win it.
