He KNOWS he needs an efficient passing game with deep-strike and quick strike, chunk-play creating ability. The personnel, coaches, and scheme - to a degree - are what he and Snead are looking to find. He simply KNOWS this must happen to win and to keep his job. He won't be stubborn enough to accept the status quo and end up 7-9 again. He KNOWS that will likely cost him his job.
