I like the hire, bright young mind and I remember him well from UVA. Not overly talented but he was tough as nails and was pretty crafty. I like that in a coach.
I think people get too caught up with titles. Boras is the OC. Like it or not, its his job.
Groh is the WR coach, plain and simple. Sure they upgraded the title to sound fancy "passing game coordinator", but that's his job.
Its not the dream team of offensive football, but that's not going to happen with Fisher.
Fisher is ultimately the OC, Boras will call the plays on a tight leash IMO

I'm afraid you will be hibernating for another season. Despite the Rams hiring a "passing game coordinator", I don't expect much to change. Fisher just doesn't have it in him. I hope I'm wrong but I don't see any evidence that I am.

Working with Gase and Trestman sure sounds good to me.
Here's to hoping the dinosaur opens his mind and lets the young guns have at it with the offense.

Fisher may be stubborn but I doubt he is an idiot. He KNOWS the passing game sucks. He also KNOWS that they must score more points to win and that a passing game is paramount to scoring more points. He is looking for a complementary passing game to his projected strong run game and strong D/special teams. He KNOWS he needs an efficient passing game with deep-strike and quick strike, chunk-play creating ability. The personnel, coaches, and scheme - to a degree - are what he and Snead are looking to find. He simply KNOWS this must happen to win and to keep his job. He won't be stubborn enough to accept the status quo and end up 7-9 again. He KNOWS that will likely cost him his job.

Time will tell if he has done enough to fiX the offense, have a winning season, and keep his job. Time will tell if he can turn what he KNOWS into what he DOES.
