BECAUSE THEY ARE IDIOTS *

* My wife is a UCLA alum so by California law I must denounce all things USC (not including any former, current or future Rams).

Ha!!

Although I am not an UCLA alum I am related to a many and I went to a college that had no football team. No, it was not a federal institution. State. :)

I too am a big Bruins fan. So thanks for reminding me. Makes sense. :)

I don't think it does. The lettering is right side up if you are sitting on the press box side.

You can really see the shadow pattern in the photo from an old Raidahs game.
And the parking lot..

I wanted a little more seating info like sections and numbers and pulled up this chart.

I do agree with you that the team name is usually, if not always, towards the home team.

And in addition, the one Raider game I went to in the Coliseum the home team was certainly on the west side of the stadium.

All funny!!

I looked at other pictures and it looks like the home side for USC is the eastern side of the stadium. I am inclined to believe the field shows the insignia the other direction for the press booth.

I saw your seating chart and that led me to look for more detail like rows and such and thats the chart that showed the Trojans on the east side.

Neither here nor there, I hope the Rams are on the west side. As you wisely pointed out, a seat that would be easier on the sun exposure.

I'm GA16. Should get decent seats. I'm paying attention to the shadow side though, that definitely seems like the smart play.
