Reeder has been and will be replaced again by Jones.

I get the criticism of Reeder. I don't get all the speculation here that somehow, he's going away in the SB. Last 6 games, he's played >86% of the snaps in every game. There was a lull for him Weeks 12-14: Jax 49% (blowout); AZ 13%; and SEA 44%. I don't recall the situation there. Prior 5 games to that stretch, he was in the high 70s, low 80s with 1 game at 64.

I don't think he was ever "replaced" by Jones and won't be. Jones' snaps will be mostly playing alongside Reeder. Just JMHO based on the season to date.

I wouldn't give up on Skow for that one big drop. Its quite possible he won't drop the next one. Reeder seems to fall for misdirections a lot. Gets himself out of position. He doesn't have the instincts needed for that position. I know Jones is a rookie but I'd feel better with him at that spot. Kinda reminds me of John Johnson being a 3rd round pick and looking like a solid NFL player.

He's had it since Jones got hurt and the defense has played really well. So maybe Reeder is really good at calling the defense even if he's not so good at playing it?

Weddle played every snap against SF. Does he get the dot for the SB?

Weddle was talked about getting it and McVay even mentioned Jones getting it back but he didn't want to burden him with it just coming back. The 2 weeks leading up to the Game affords him the time to take back that responsibility. I know Reeder is not going away but he needs to be used in certain situations only. He is not a 3 down LB
