I was listening to Mayor Butts on the radio and he was called by Mark Davis. Could indicate Chargers wont come and Raiders might.

I would so much rather have the Raiders and Mark Davis there with us. He appears to be a much easier Cat to deal with then the Spanos gang of deception.

Either way, Spanos would have to pony up at least $550M to relocate. I think it would be a bit of a decision on his part to put that money to relocation or to put it, plus the FREE $100M toward a stadium solution in SD.

Seems to me that it would be a much wiser decision to spend the same money and own your own venue and be the king of your own castle.

I can't even make it through your posts due to that sig being so hypnotizing.

I'd like to see San Diego go to LA and fail miserably, while Oakland heads to San Diego and succeeds wildly

I just livestreamed Kevin Falcouner's State of the City Address, since he promised he'd talk Chargers in it.

And sure enough he addressed the issue almost immediately, as it was clearly the elephant in the
room. Although he didn't bring up any names and didn't call anyone out. Must've been chastised
a bit after his first few comments post-Rams announcements were roundly cricitized as being too harsh...

"It's been a heck of a week for us in the world of sports; there's been a lot of twists and turns and I hope I got this version of my speech right".

(crowd laughter).

"Last ten months more progress than in last ten years. We have a real financing plan that doesn't raise taxes. It's a common sense
proposal, we've stood by the Chargers for over 50 years, that outta count for something. Energy that's powered the Bolts for 35 years,
you can't get that in Inglewood, you can't get that in LA...

Not too late to get back to table. San Diego let's make it happen...".

(applause).
(and that was it).

LEVERAGE.
SD's vote is in June.
The risk to reward ratio seem prohibitive for a move now.
Think about it. Pay a buck rent and be a tenant and the Rams runt bitch,,, or forego a $100MM gift from the NFL and risk $1.85 BB investment to get equity stake in stadium but only revenue from Chargers related op's. If that's really the deal for the Chargers (or the Raiders) I can see them passing on it..
Fabianos can keep up the smoke screen until July, and then play out the season continuing to try at 1 last shot. If SD fails, then they will announce their intention to go to LA for the 2017 or 2018 season. ESK said he want's 2 years head start. If he's been the good soldier all along and is writing those hefty checks, that is how it should be..
