- Financing is ready
- Site is Shovel ready
- We are basically ready to go, and ready to move forward immediately.
- NFL has determined that it is an acceptable plan and program
- Iger was not at this meeting.
- It makes tremendous sense for this to happen now, everything is aligned-up perfectly. All financing is place, and all teams are ready to go.
- Way more than 9 votes in favor in Carson
- 10 owners are undecided, and it will be these undecided voters who determine which site gets approved.
- Goodhell has responsibility to render a report, but he doesn't have to make a recommendation.
- He feels recommendation from Committees will be what's sway undecided owners.

I have heard nothing except financing with exceptions.

Is there any possibility Carson is as far along as Policy says it is? Shovel ready?

This would be bothersome. No matter how much better the Inglewood stadium would be.

They're counting the remediation as part of the construction. It's shovel ready in the sense that they will start remediation, and then construction as soon as they get the go ahead. They still need FAA approval and such though, I don't know how that factors in, if you can start digging before or what.

Here's all you need to konw about Policy.
A native of Youngstown, Ohio, Policy was graduated in 1963 from Youngstown University

They call Youngstown part of the "thug belt" for a reason.

So is he lying?

I have no way of telling. And if he is, which would be professional suicide, then there is no decision. Yet owners coming out in support of a lie?

Good gravy this is getting thick.

I wouldn't beleve a word out of this guys mouth if my life depended on it. And if I shook his hand, I'd count my finger afterwards.

It is shovel ready. It's just a question of what those shovels will be doing.

In Carson's case they'll be doing remediation...

Used to work for an environmental company. It's on record that the site needs vapor extraction and/or ground water extraction wells installed. And a containment cap (basically a protective layer put on top of the bad crap...not just dirt!...so it can't get to the surface). Usually you have to install slurry walls (putting "walls" into the ground to a certain depth so bad crap can't go sideways either), but haven't read those are required. At any rate, a containment cap requires a detailed design (which take an engineering company several months to develop) and EPA approval of the design. We all know how fast the Government works. Think several more months for that, unless someone is paid off to sign off on it. No one's moving dirt until next fall...

Is there any kind of report publicly avail on Carson site that reveals this level of truth?

Pretty much everybody says and believes that Carson can be built. There's still some remediation to be done, there's the cap and the wells like Inddrid mentioned.

But nobody really knows what they'll find when they start digging or how long it will take.

So when they say it's shovel ready, they're not really lying but they are using the term pretty loosely.

Bubba has written extensively about the history of the land, and it's not pretty...

Also, read somewhere (Vinny?) that the L.A. committee was asking Policy about remediation and the Carson site so it's not like they're oblivious to the situation...

Carson ain't real until I see a Methane Pump System. Does anyone really think Jerry Jones would waste his time coming up with a document that advocates for a Rams and Chargers partnership in Inglewood if it wasn't ready to go? I sure don't think so. This is edging towards the finish line and now with the Riverfront deal dead it's looking good for Ram's restoration in LA. No one's talking about realignment and the Rams are already scheduled to play in London. I am looking forward to Tues and Wed...

Would someone please discuss why no one in the media is saying anything about the opening date for Carson that must be guaranteed in their proposal. And it was due last week.

Everyone knows Kroenke guaranteed 2009 for Inglewood. Does anyone think Carson can do that? And if they could wouldn't they have gotten that out there?
