I don't really see the need to call a guy out this soon in the season. The defense needs to function as a unit. Team game and all.
As a whole there was some poor tackling in the first half of that game by the entire defense.
These guys know what mistakes they make during a game. As always they have to go forward and improve from week to week.
As a unit I don't see them resting on their laurels. Looks to me like they are being accountable and looking to improve on every snap.
I'm excited and looking forward to watching this defense get better with each passing week.

I tought his coverage was fine. More than a couple of those 16 tackles were made in coverage short of the line to gain. Let's put it this way. Dasilva was off

Oh I agree. I think he will just keep getting better. He doesn’t seem like a liability there at all.

When you hear their name mentioned as often as I heard his, today, something was happening.

FACT OF INTEREST:
Miles Sanders' fumble was caused by a hard tackle and a left-hand clubbing the ball loose per the postgame interview of some Rams guy named:

Micah Kiser. :idea2: :arrow2: 8-)

The former Virginia Cavalier was all over the field today in Philly!! :!2:

Maybe DaSilva should write a story about that Kiser Forced Fumble, or maybe about those...y'know....

MICAH KISER'S SIXTEEN TACKLES TODAY!!! :idea2: :arrow2: :!2:

I would guess that it's been years since a Rams Defender notched 16 Tackles, with 11 of them Solo, a Forced Fumble, and a Pass Defensed all in a single game. :idea2:

IIRC, there was a rookie in his first start who notched 12 tackles on the final week of the 1998 season. He became the starting MLB and was the heart of the defense until Lovie decided Jamie Duncan could do just as well. We know how that went.
