I've read that it might be the Hags that go back to the AFC W since they played in that division before and already have rivalries. NFC W rivalries still strong. Then 1 of the Charaiders takes their place in the NFC W.

It's beyond absurd. In what universe would Alex Spanos want to own the Rams in St. Louis? And why?

This comment make the most sense. Why?

I'm right there with you, that would be my breaking point and I've been there all year long. Its gotten worse for me even if they don't leave the NFCW but stay in St Louis I'm likely done with the NFL.

We already lost our team once. This would be like losing them again, but this time forever, for certain.
My disgust for Spanos is borderline criminal. I could NEVER EVER support that franchise in LA (same with the Raiders). So if the unthinkable happens, the LA market will be dead to me.
Then you have the despicable characters (save a few) in St Louis combined with the shitty way they went about blocking us with the Gnat (where is that flyswatter), making it impossible for me to support anything St Louis ever again. Honestly, I realize I only supported all the suckage in StLouis because I read the tea leaves 5 year+ ago that they might come back.
But most damning will be the NFL being such a bunch of dolts and self centered pre-Madonnas that they would actually make that decision over Inglewood. Or simply allow a weaker owner to prevail out of fear. I could no longer buy what they are selling.

It's only 17 days a year.

LOL, shows you how sensationalistic some of these people are, "OMG, logos gone."

No, they have a bowl game coming up.

Ye of so little faith! Follow the money, look at what they do, not what they say. These guys' whole lives have revolved around money, and in the end when they all sit down and figure out they stand to make the most money with Inglewood, then that's what will happen. Do they really want LA? Are they going to let one owner who thinks LA is his market stop NFL in LA? Carson is a joke and they know it. Every owner has a stake in LA. TV, advertising, etc, they all get a share and it will be much more and less time and trouble for Rams to be there. Spanos wants to block that. Are they going to let him have his way?

Hags aren't just changing conferences because the NFL asks nicely. There will have to be more money and perks offered before this is even considered. And I'm sure they'll resist. In terms of the Rams moving conferences, I know the bitch waved that right in 1995 when they moved, but wasn't that effectively canceled when the divisions were all realigned in 2002?

If that's the case, Kroenke isn't going to help the NFL with realignment after they give him the middle finger on LA.

All this shit is moot with a Rams/Chargers partnership, but who are we to point out what makes the most sense.

Amen bubba. We are in a bad window right now. The blowhards are blowing. McFab Spanardson isn't the league end all. Carson makes no sense and StL plan is only actionable if this or that does or doesn't happen. Not anymore certain than anywhere else and certainly less certain than the City of Champions Revitalization Project at Hollywood Park.

Wish I had your faith brother, but it seems that not only do they want to take care of "one of their own." in Spanos, they want to stop Kroenke from gaining more power in a market like LA. Seems they would rather allow clueless Davis into LA even thought he really does not want LA.

I have always felt strongly that you and Hack have been they guys to keep our heads on straight, however, right now as hack posts, it's a bad window and I'm not feeling good about anything.

Fear not den, the window will open. Something else will happen to topple that apple cart. bubbas question speaks volumes and my answer just isn't enough.
The Chargers might still be putting the screws to San Diego to maintain their own leverage their if the get stuck in SD until the June hearings. That makes sense. Nothing else here does.

Consider this Den-- If they award Chairaiders, they have to kick in money (G-4). If they award Kroenke, they don't and they get a garunteed relocation fee. They have been saying they "want to do LA right". Kroenke still has the best hand.
