The factor we had heard hints about but dismissed we those rumbling about Spanos being so liked by the other owners. It always seemed so unprofessional that it made little sense. As we draw nearer, a lot of those rumbling are beginning to become more of a reality. At least through the tweets we get these days. Of course this could all be coming from a few of the biased LA Spanos committee and the Fabiani spin machine.
All of that noise doesn't necessarily represent the majority of the owners.
That committee should be taken with a grain of salt after these Iger slip.

Kroenke has a few advantages. First his wealth,, and second, the right team, the best land and a 2 year head start. What would be more important would be if he has the legal backing to succeed if he decided to move anyway. The threat of that I imagine the league would want to avoid if they knew it was a loser so they would likely capitulate.

Also, Richardson and Spanos can't be endearing themselves to many of the owners with all of these childish games and pr-noise they are making. I can't believe that many of the owners are enjoying all of the manufactured media noise coming from these guys. In short, I think they are digging themselves a hole that they'll never get out of. New wealth will take over the leauge, and for the better.

We can reason all we want, and we can be dead on. But that doesn't mean the owners are thinking what we're thinking.

It could be as simple as The Rams in L.A. is bad for Dean Spanos and a lot of the owners want to protect Spanos.

On the other hand, Kroenke can simply say, "I'm moving my team into my stadium in L.A. Either make it work or fight me. It's your call, but i'm moving."

Will it come to that? Would Stan do it?

We're gonna find out soon enough...

Why all of a sudden are the committee members speaking out publicly? Anybody wonder about that.

Grubman speaks out with some pretty damaging St Lou news now all of the pro Spanos lackeys start chirping.

Coincidence? I don't think so.

Forget the owner buddy system. Follow the money. This looks more like a Goldman Sachs play to me than anything else. Fabiani and Iger both have GS ties and clearly GS has an interest in seeing BOTH Carson and St. Louis stadium plans succeeding.

Looks like there's going to be a Texas showdown between McNair and Jerruh if I read this correctly.

I don't see how making any of this public will make a difference about anything. What good does it do with regard to there decision?
The fan public is only watching.

Perhaps the NFL likes all the press coverage. Most of this seems out of control and heartless so why are they making it public again?

Making an owner stay in a market not worthy when Oakland and San Diego are far better markets, Stan should move the freaking team.....I'm so pissed right now and I need to take time away to deal with this BS.

Not sure about a Texas showdown but the GS connection cannot be overlooked. Something is going on that we just cant see. It would seem to me GS can make all the ruckus they want, without a majority of owners agreeing with their position for some reason I don't see that getting support over an owner. Unless they are the official lender of the NFL. :?

Stan should meet with the San Diego mayor and Briggs. That would be hilarious.

If the Rams can't go to LA, he can move to San Diego and take all of the SD fans and keep all of the current LA fans.

Aren't some of the owners stakeholders in GS and so would profit here? Thought I read that somewhere. If so, those owners probably want Carson.
