All true, but I still don't understand why Rams fans took it as such an insult? When was the last time the Rams had 8 wins?

True, we have no business getting ticked when someone speaks the truth. However his delivery was pissy after we knocked Palmer out (I think that was the game he made that comment). It's like your ears shutting down when someone is yelling at you.

I recall beating Bradshaw at the LA Coliseum on Monday night (with a rookie QB named "Jaws"), and then I recall watching us almost beat their roided-out buts in the SB (I was at both games). It it weren't for a late interception, Cromwell's pick-6 drop, and two ridiculous 4th quarter catches, our 9-7 Rams beat one of the biggest dynasty's of all time. Bradshaw can kiss my behind... he knows better that to spout off about this team.

I think we could be a 8-8 team if the NFL expanded our division by one more team so we could have 8 division games a year ;)

BTW, he hasn't been proven wrong (literally) yet,, but at this point I'd take 8-8 this year. I doubt we get that so Bradshaw is literally wrong.

I saw the pre-game, and thought he said Jeff Fisher is always 8-8, didnt necassarily call the Rams an 8-8 team (which would be a compliment)
He was basically saying they have no offense, have an OC who was a college DB or something to that effect. All in all he basically said the offense is terrible and will continue to be with Fisher as the coach. Kind of like what we've been saying...

I remember watching those games from NY, very cool that you were there.

Also, remember being disappointed that we lost the SB, but I was still glad to see we finally got on the cover of SI being in the SB, after all those years of seeing other teams on it.

Bradshaw was actually spouting off about Fisher, not the Rams. I didn't say it right in the header. He said the Rams will always be 8-8 team with Fisher as HC. Sorry for the mistake.

3 pages and you say it's a mistake? Why I oughta' j/k max.

That does make a difference though. And it's fairly true. in his 20 years as a HC he has only surpassed 500% six times with a couple of 8-8's thrown in there. I guess the proof is in the outputting.

okay, that would make sense, and put Bradshaw back in my good books :)

Both games are strongly marked in my memory. ;)

I also remember that cover. We were a badass team under Maylavsi, after years and years of Ground Chuck losses in the playoffs our HC finally went out and got us a real OC, Zampese (the dad). I feel like we're reliving those days all over again. The bright side is that this team will explode as soon as we get a competent coaching staff, just like we saw before.

Yup, good news he was talking about Fish and not the Rams. I'm starting to get the feeling Jeff is not so well liked or respected around the league.

LA is glitz and glam, that means high powered offense and scoring. Defense and hanging in to try to win by 3 in the end just doesn't really move the "Oooo"-meter. That ain't Fish. Unless his team runs for 200-300 yds/game and scores 4 Tds/game his way will not be liked in LA. Mostly, because his teams don't win.
