A decision in early January last week of regular season wildcard weekend would not overshadow the SuperBowl. the next meeting in December may be key where Stan can say look my permits to build will be ready in two weeks, I have given you almost a year. My stadium will provide leverage for the Chargers and Raiders and I will offer generous lease terms to whomever wants to join me. The Carson project has so many potential nightmare scenarios in terms of environmental questions and does the NFL really want two teams in hock to Goldman Sachs. Will the Chargers be more profitable in Carson will the debt load required to make it happen or coming to Inglewood as my tenant with a generous lease?

Maybe this happens maybe this was the goal all along maybe this is a conspiracy. I've said it before, something feels fishy about all this. It's hard to believe anything especially since the reports keep on changing.

What would Stan stand to gain by joining Spanos in Carson? When they already have the groundwork and permit process going in Inglewood? Just to make Spanos stop throwing hissy fits? And Carson would take years longer and probably cost more after remediation cleanup is done? The idea is ridiculous.

As for waiting till 2017, will change nothing unless Oakland or SD get a project approved and one of those teams bow out (San Diego most likely). Is that really going to happen? Stan can check off another year.

If there is a tiny chance that ESK actually did say something like that (which I too doubt) his open willingness to cooperate vs Spanos' bitchy little 'tude would be viewed as a positive by those involved.

Fabiani is a professional liar. He's made money being good at it. He literally wrote the book on how to be a successful liar.

I have a ton of respect for that guy and his success.
