I swear, me and my friends love the new unis and we kinda like the new logo. We’re 5 Rams fans in our 30s..

The only thing we kinda don’t like on the unis are the gradient numbers. However, we’re giving it a chance to see how they look on game days

My son is thirty-something, and he said almost exactly the same thing. His only issue is the gradient. Other than that, he loves them.

Unfortunately, it (the Rams new uniform concept) didn’t translate well when coming into the real world and it’s a bit of a shame for the Rams since they’ve spent such a long time trying to sort out their identity, even before they went ahead with their new uniforms. It’s especially a shame when you consider that their neighbors are going to have arguably the best look in the NFL after unveiling their new look last month. The Chargers did a perfect job of honoring their past and bringing it into the present with their new look, while a lot of what the Rams wanted to do ended up getting lost in translation. We might be hearing from the Rams again in about five or six years when they become eligible to switch their look up again.

Maybe we should check with the players to see if they're embarrassed to wear that stitching. Jack Youngblood and Hacksaw Reynolds might have been, but that's a long time ago. If Aaron Donald isn't embarrassed by it, maybe I won't be, either. I'll go by whatever Aaron decides.

I don't care what the current players think of the new look. Most of them will only be around for a few seasons with the RAMS. Some of them will be lining up against our team before you know it. I can't believe every current player is happy with the change and I think most just toe the company line.
And everyone would have been fine if we just went back to our classic togs.

Fight what? Fight who? If the Rams cared at all what we fans think, they would have asked more of us for input on the uniform redesign. They didn't, because they don't. They already know what we long-time fans (pre-1994) think. And they were fully prepared for our hatred of whatever they put out there. They don't care.

The people they care about are younger people. They wanted a new look, and they got one. They think younger people will be attracted to a new look. And you know what, from what I have heard and from what I can tell, they are.

For now, I'm ok with it. I don't really like the bone color, but the blue unis seem fine to me. And I like the helmets, segmented horn notwithstanding.

You sound like you are happy with the changes and the move from tradition to the future. No disrespect but I'm not sure why you are even in the thread. There's nothing to argue about. I wouldn't try to change your mind. I can only fight this with the RAMS brass and urge those who are not happy to speak with their (empty) wallet.

IMO, there aren't many players that will say bad things about their current team's uni's since said team is PAYING them to be there. Dissing a newly released uni that the org wants to be a success would not be a good idea. lol Current players "answers" would not be honest and mean nothing. However, I DO believe there are some Rams players who dislike the uni but would never say so. You would only hear "positive" comments.

I will take the opinion of a FAN (short for FANATIC) over a current player every time. A "fanatic" is just that. Someone who is emotionally (not financially) invested into the team will care the most. Just like all of us.
