Depends on the definition of "certain percentage". I can see the affect altitude might have on a visiting team and the benefit for the home team who practice in it. But 'cold weather' teams? In today's NFL don't most teams have indoor practice facilities?

You don't just practice in the cold. You play in it year in and out, you live in it, and so on. That's why I focused on coping skills. Being used to it just means handling it in more familiar ways.

I was just thinking about you when I read PARAM’s post talking about playing at “altitude” causing teams problems.

That is something I would like to see....
