on a side note, the Packers asked Reggie McKenzie to come interview for the GM job ... admitting they should have hired him in the first place ... Reggie has told them to fuck off ... he doesn't "want to" work for them anymore.... but Reggie did recommend that they seriously scout Tennessee Vol's player Kahlil McKenzie.

"The next Sean McVay" in effect? I have to get more used to these young guys getting jobs. I mean, to me, the KC offense is all Reid but these guys have to learn something too. I guess it's just as hit and miss as anything else.

I just think of OC's that coached Peyton Manning or Aaron Rodgers that got jobs and it makes me think they are undeserving.

Nagy is an ex-arena QB...

If only it was as easy as just hiring an ex AFL QB. Kind of like the many examples of former catchers becoming good managers in baseball, hopefully for these teams they are looking deeper.

McVay's got something special in addition to his former playing days and locations.

Since about midseason, a lot of Bears fans and media members in Chicago & Bears media thought they were going to have a Rams type of turn around in 2018. They were/are counting on an innovative offensive minded head coach being able to help Tribinsky a lot and dramatically improve the offense.

When I saw Trubisky in the preseason, his accuracy and anticipation seemed impressive. I thought when he finally got to play that the offense would look much better.

Add to that having such a good running game and their struggles have really surprised me. Considering Fox is probably very similar to Fisher in a lot of ways, maybe the Bears will also have an immediate turnaround like the Rams did.
