love pfj's twitter feed, it's great... that said, he's been bashing the rams new look, from logo to unis, non-stop since they dropped, and has even permanently blocked folks who have whined that he should give it up already, ha ha... i don't even know if he's a rams fan or just an nfl logo/uniform purist....

I am sure @AvengerRam doesn't need me riding in on a white horse to "rescue" him but you guys are acting like a bunch of bullies ganging up on one person. You guys know/notice why barely anyone else posts in this thread? It's cause you all are
TOXIC as hell. I have posted a couple somewhat positive thoughts of mine before and it either just gets buried or made fun of. Why do I read it anymore you ask? Apparently I am a sucker for punishment.

Do I LOVE the uniforms? No. Would I give it a chance to hopefully embrace it? Yes.

Open-mindedness seems to be a rare trait nowadays. There's enough shit burning in the real world right now due to lack of acceptance, empathy, and all that already. What's that saying? If you can choose to be anything in the world, be kind. What a concept! :!2:

They screwed with tradition and made a few choices that were unnecessary. They made something great, less great from a tradition standpoint at least.
If Demoff were here or if this group of disappointed to angry Rams fans were surrounding him in person, or threatening him physically, that would be unacceptable. Taking a pound of cyber flesh is simply venting. No one to pile on.

The white high horse you are name calling on is more toxic and a line further than bitching about the screwed up uniforms in a uniform thread. Just don't read the thread like all the others you say don't post in it.

Hope it turns out better than it appears.

So we have to just accept things and that will make it all okay? What does that and empathy have to do with disliking a major change a team makes; one I have rooted for for 50 years? Some people are real passionate about this stuff. If the front office had said we're going back to the classic throwback uniforms everyone would have been pleased. No one would have said, " I think you should change the uniforms and helmet design". So that's a major bone of contention I have with RAMS management and their decision.
And what's going on in the rest of the world has nothing to do with this. I have plenty of empathy for people going through tough times. Kevin and Stan...not so much.

I am truly dumbfounded how any RAMS fan think those uniforms look good. It boggles my mind. There is not one good thing about those uniforms. I am 100% stunned at any positive reception those bone togs get.

Message well received, carry on with the toxicity in this thread then. This is btw reflects the real world oh so well. The select few detractors/complainers are always the loudest and overshadow everything/everyone else.

I hope you all really enjoy continuing validating your egocentric perspectives by mutually supporting each other with this toxic gem for another 179 pages then. You won't see me respond on this thread anymore. Good day.

Perfect example of the problem.

You wish to express your opinion (over and over)... have at it.

But if you're going to question other fans' right to like something you don't like, what's the message that you're trying to convey? That you have taste and they don't? That you're a better fan?

Here's an idea... speak for yourself.

You're not the only one(s) who are passionate about this stuff. Most of us are very passionate about this stuff.

Please don't tell me I'm not passionate enough about the Rams' uniforms, because that's the implication. I would much prefer the Ferragamos. I haven't decided whether or not I'm going to buy a new jersey, or just continue to wear my #15 Ferragamo. What I have decided is that AFAIC, they're not that bad, they could have been much, much worse, and I think they'll grow on me over time (aside from the gradient, which nobody likes).

But this is just my opinion. Your mileage clearly varies.

Good advice but also ironic. This latest flare up started when you decided to question and criticize other posters' reaction to the uniform:

"I think some of you need to start reciting the Serenity Prayer."

And it went from there.

As always, and this goes for everyone, things work better when you don't make it about each other...
