Give me Shannahan. He has a better track record. He has a better Offense (True he does have better talent) and I think his upside is more predictable than McVay's. I am intrigued by the thought of getting Wade here as DC but I would still rather have the Shannahans. I'm sure the Rams will pull a typical Rams-like move and hire Lynn or Vrabel ;) as the HC and piss everyone off

I was just thinking how much I enjoy coming home to a cold glass of wine and reading my RFU peeps talking about coaching and everything else Rams related under the sun. . . . .

Garcon would be a better fit, no doubt, but may be a bridge too far if McVay turns out to be the choice here. Another potential carry-over, though, could be tackle Ty Nsekhe.

Gruden is the guy in Washington so when you combine that with his McVay's youth and lack of HC experience...on top of the fact that the Redskins have a good, but not great offense scares me.

If I had to choose, I'd take Shanahan.

I totally agree. I hope they are not moving on McVay without interviewing Shanny.

Whatever, this doesn’t bother me. Not sure he’s ready to be a head coach. Very questionable calls in red zone

agree with the red zone play calling . . . the inability to stick with the running game will not be missed . . . hopefully callihan does it better (and gets the job)

Please excuse me for asking a dumb question, but what is the connection between McVay and Wade Phillips?
