Some are speculating the Colts are doing this to legitimize the eventual hiring of Jeff Saturday.

The Cardinals don't seem to be in much of a hurry either...

I'm hearing no one wants the cards job as the new coach would be tied to Kyler for 4 years. Also the Cards arent interviewing 1/2 the league and heading towards a 3rd round of interviews. I heard some of the interviews for with Indy have lasted 12 hours WTF

Sounds like there's a couple GM's that can't afford to get it wrong this time.

That’s why there needs to be rules in place that don’t allow interviews until after the season or at least until the team is out of the playoffs.

Demeco Ryans turned down two interviews to focus on the playoffs. And they lost. He’s not the reason they lost but it gets out two nights before that he’s Houston’s next coach that’s not good for the team. Now no matter what anyone will say. You’re still thinking about your next job.

And now you got Eagles coach getting ready for super bowl and doing another interview with The colts. What a joke.

After all, what good is an interview if you can't put your candidate through the wringer? That wouldn't be much fun. ;)

12 hours doesn't sound that crazy for what is a lucrative and important position, plus it stands to reason it wasn't "interview" in the way most of us working stiffs endure one. Probably many breaks and good conversation (rather than for us, typical is no breaks and nonstop grilling).

I get that, but I not sure you should be doing that when you are interviewing 12+ candidates...
I could see if you were down to a couple etc
